Our client is a trusted and respected IT Security Integrator that provides IT Security consultancy, implementation, integration, and support services to Financial Services, Commercial and Government organisations on Information Security solutions and Cloud based implementations.

Due to strong growth, the company is currently looking to hire an experienced Security Operations Engineer to be responsible in Security Operations, Implementation, Integration, Monitoring, and support activities with a broad set of security technologies experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical security solutions, security operations, implementation and support for customers.
• Develop a deep understanding of SIEM, Firewall, Access Control, and Log Management technologies.
• Undertaking tasks requiring a high level of technical analysis, diagnosis and problem solving.
• Maintain ownership of the complete solution from requirement gathering with customer and qualification through mid to high-level design and implementation of the solutions.
• Work with clients to understand requirements and define appropriate solutions.
• Comfortable with presenting and communicating solutions to clients at a business and technical level.
• Excellent communication and written skills.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as Security Systems Engineer or in a client facing role providing enterprise security software solutions.
• Strong knowledge on Information Security, Network Security, and Cloud based implementations.
• Knowledge in some or all of the following:
  • Firewall
  • SIEM
  • Intrusion Detection / Intrusion Prevention
  • Network Access Controls
  • Log Management
  • Web Application Protection (WAF)
  • Database Encryption
  • Data Loss Prevention
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Relevant industry certifications.
