IT Security Analyst

Finite IT is currently seeking an IT Security Analyst for a permanent full time position. Our client is a rapidly expanding organization, where security is at the forefront of the business operations. We’re looking for a conceptual thinker with a growth mindset with innovative approaches to the delivery of security solutions. We need a strong team player who will build excellent internal stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

Strong understanding of business risk management

Formal certifications in security (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CEH etc), business and computer science or other appropriate disciplines

Proven record of accomplishment implementing security policy and compliance program solutions in an enterprise environment

Responsibilities

Ensure that ICT security risks are reduced or mitigated through effective security practices

Monitor the changing threat landscape to identify and report emerging threats and issues. Contribute to the development of technical security standards and related procedures. Monitor the compliance posture and report

Provide a technical point of escalation for Information Security issues and incidents provide a thorough post-event analysis

Contribute to the development of specification and design of automated security monitoring tools and, in conjunction with the ICT technical teams, support the installation, configuration of such tools and assist ICT in maintenance and monitoring activities

Proactively develop partnerships with and stakeholders in order to grow ICT’s reputation as a trusted and valued business partner

Provide strategic input into ICT strategy and investment planning to future-proof the ICT platform for growth and technology redundancy.
