We are currently recruiting for an Intelligence Analyst to use their analytical techniques to create intelligence products to inform relevant strategic and tactical planning. You will make recommendations to drive business activity and assess threat harm and risk.
You will have an investigative mind, logical thinker and the ability to work in collaboration with teams and people form different areas of the organisation.
You may be required to travel for business purposes on occasion and demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours.Responsibilities

- Produce Intelligence reports and analysis to the operational fraud and investigation teams and wider business areas.
- Provide insight into trends and new and emerging threats
- Deliver training and mentoring to new and existing members of the team
- Developing, maintaining and making use of an extensive network of external contacts and relationships in order to stay abreast of market developments, emerging risks, best practice, competitor activity etc.
- Knowledge of multiple fraud typologies across insurance including home, pet, CTP and motor.
- Implement and monitor internal and external legislative and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Insurance Claims and Underwriting experience, desirable.
- Recommend anti-fraud processes for changing patterns and trends
- Undertaking claims audits from a fraud perspective
- Generate suspicious activity reports and risk management reports for Managers
The Individual
- Experience ideally in insurance fraud (application fraud, claim fraud), organised crime, or crime intelligence
- Experience as an Analyst in an insurer, financial services, police, or government agency with excellent understanding of the Intelligence Cycle and intelligence operating standards.
- Excellent communication, research, investigative, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in insurance products and claims, ideally.
- Experience using i2 products, (Ibase/Analyst Notebook).
- Experience using fraud technology systems, intelligence systems, and big data solutions.
- Experience and Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
