Naturally what my client is after is a secure technology environment.
To achieve this the Cybersecurity Analyst will build out security operational processes and tools including event management, detection, incident management and recovery.

Naturally what my client is after is a secure technology environment.
To achieve this the Cybersecurity Analyst will build out security operational processes and tools including event management, detection, incident management and recovery.
In particular:
- Implement and administer dual control for elevated access to system
- Implement and administer key management practice and processes
- Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats and advise relevant stakeholders on appropriate courses of action
- Participate in any potential cybersecurity and/or data loss incident management
- Produce regular cybersecurity reporting, including internal and vendor based information
- Manage the recurring cybersecurity events calendar e.g. annual penetration testing
- Document configuration and operational procedures
- Act as a champion for cybersecurity awareness within the business
The skills and experience you will need to achieve success are:
- Operational experience in a 24×7 high availability, real time processing environment
- Service Desk and Incident Management experience
- AWS Security training
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Experience building operational process, embedding process, continual improvement
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve non-routine, complex, high impact/high urgency incidents
Extras that could assist:
- ITIL V3 Foundation Certification
- PCI-DSS, PA-DSS knowledge
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Splunk, Nagios
