This 6-month maximum-term contract role, with potential for extension, is responsible for effective application of cybersecurity practices and technical expertise, initially for a critical program of work; Cloud Migration of RAC Insurance systems, in a secure and compliant manner.
You will be required to ensure that assigned projects’ outcome are aligned to RAC’s security policies, standards and cloud security best practices, mitigating RAC security risks and vulnerabilities.
What will you be doing?
- Advising IT teams and business stakeholders by way of cybersecurity domain knowledge and practices to enhance RAC’s security posture and mitigating threats to information systems; IT applications and infrastructure
- Leading and performing information security activities for assigned projects
- Advising on technical security matters with RAC teams, coordinating delivery of Information & Security services for the project
- Reviewing security practices and driving improvements to assist projects
- Coordinating and participating in security assurance reviews for assigned projects
- Coaching/training project teams in secure development practices
What are we looking for in you?
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence others, a broad knowledge of information security standards and frameworks, such as NIST, ISO27001, PCI, Privacy Act and APRA Information Security requirements.
- Broad domain knowledge of information security, standards and best practices
- Deep technical security knowledge with cloud security experience (essential)
- Experience supporting and assuring information security in system design (essential)
- At least one of (ISC)² CISSP, CCSP or CISM certification is mandatory
- Azure security design/operations experience (highly desirable)
- Experience with governance and security frameworks
