eSecure is currently looking for talented security professionals to join our growing Sydney technical assurance team. The role will include Red Teaming, penetration testing and specialised security assessments across a broad range of systems, networks, applications and services to meet our client’s security objectives. This is a technically focused role which will support and collaborate with eSecure’s consulting and managed security teams to develop creative and innovative security solutions.

The role will involve:

• Hands-on technical Red Teaming, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, code reviews and other security assurance activities

• Ongoing contribution to the security assurance strategies, tools and practices within eSecure to maintain efficient and effective outcomes for our clients

• Integration of security assurance activities within various projects

• Working with project and operational stakeholders to identify security defects and provide remediation advice to resolve these

• Communicating security defect information to project and operational stakeholders

Key success criteria will include:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work to a plan and budget

• Ability to think creatively and laterally in complex situations

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to travel if required

• Ability to achieve security clearances

• Knowledge of emerging security techniques, vulnerabilities and approaches

• Knowledge across a variety of platforms, operating systems and networked environments

• Experience with penetration testing frameworks and tools

• Experience across Red Teaming, physical, social engineering, cloud, WiFi, mobile, privilege escalation, exploitation, lateral movement, web application penetration, vulnerability or infrastructure testing

• Proficiency with programming or scripting languages is a plus

• Relevant industry certifications (CREST, OSCP, GPEN, OSCE, etc) will be viewed favourably
