Security Analyst- SIEM- Major Bank

A leading financial services organisation based in Sydney CBD is seeking an Information Security Analyst – SIEM to join their team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering SIEM monitoring of business critical applications and systems
• Understanding data and content development
• Working closely with the SOC to understand their needs
• Analyse output and ensure all SIEM’s tuned appropriately for purpose.
• Support incident and problem resolution through data analysis in SIEM tools

Key Skills / Experience

• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) or other types of data analytics solutions, on-boarding processes, demand management, and engagement/project reporting
• Major vendor SIEM product experience e.g.- arcsight, splunk, elastic etc
• Security analyst / operations background: incident management, incident response, working in a SOC
• Financial services an advantage
