About the role

This new role is very hands on and will expose you to some of the latest technology in cyber security.  The successful candidate will have responsibility for a wide remit including:

  • Providing analysis and trending of security log data from a large number of heterogeneous security devices
  • Providing Incident Response (IR) support when analysis confirms actionable incident
  • Providing threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services
  • Investigating, documenting and reporting on information security issues
  • Integrating and sharing information with other analysts and other teams
  • Driving innovation by analysing and interpreting data to test and inform a new initiative or approach
  • Accountability for the successful completion of multiple, individual projects simultaneously
  • Communicating effectively by contributing significantly to the development and delivery of a variety of written and visual documents for diverse audiences
  • Managing change and demonstrating adaptability by embracing change and adjusting priorities or processes and approach as needs dictate
  • Accountability for successes and failures related to individual and team-based project work assignments; actively present suggestions for solution(s), if objectives not met
  • Responding to client security audits from time to time
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What qualifications and skills are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 1+ years’ experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge
  • Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (Firewall, SIEM, EDR, Mitre Att&ck Framework, intrusion detection systems)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis, security of applications, scripting
  • Knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications
